Biasiswa Yayasan Hartalega Scholarship is offered to talented & aspired individuals who display leadership qualities and have strong academic achievements to pursue their education and commence a rewarding and challenging career.
The company are working together with UTAR in establishing a scholarship programme to support deserving students who pursue tertiary education so they can build a better future for themselves. We will also facilitate the exchange of ideas and facilities, including attachment and mutual visits by staff members to pursue research and curriculum development.
The scholarship programme supports Malaysians who are pursuing their first-degree programmes with their education partners to excel in these disciplines:
The Scholarship Programme shall support the student with the programme of study including the necessary programme fees as well as the cost of living until graduation of the student.
Industrial placement and permanent employment opportunities will be given to the student within 12 months from the completion of their respective Programme of Study.
Completed forms with relevant supporting documents must be emailed to yayasanscholarship@hartalega.com.my.
Incomplete documents submission will not be processed, only successful applicants will be notified and called for an interview.
Award of the Scholarship Programme shall be subject to further terms and conditions of a definitive Scholarship Agreement to be entered into by Yayasan Hartalega and the eligible students.
Only shortlisted candidate(s) shall undergo interview by Yayasan Hartalega and its Panelist.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to Malaysian Citizen from age 17 years old until 25 years old
- Academic Requirements:
- Minimum 3As or CGPA 3.33 in STPM / Matriculation / A-Level / Foundation / Diploma
- The student shall obtain CGPA of at least 3.33 for 1st semester degree result
- Enrolled into the Programme of Study as first degree on full time basis at UTAR
- Active participation in extracurricular / sport activities
- Applicant must not be in receipt of financial aid from other Foundation/other state government/Corporation scholarship or study loan
- Monthly household income of RM5,000 and below (B40)
- Good track records with no previous alleged/actual criminal case
